Elizabeth Pieper, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #145701
If you are searching for a therapist near me, you are in the right place! Growing up as a girl in a big family of 6, I remember feeling lost, confused, and anxious where I was headed in life.
I have felt not good enough
I remember as a child and teen questioning myself and feeling the weight of others expectations that never seemed to fit. It wasn’t until my college years that I found supportive mentors who taught me I could be myself and that I am good enough. Through continuous exploration with my own therapist and mentors, I realized I had to release beliefs of who I thought I should be, embrace my imperfections, and take life day by day.
Through my childhood and early adult years, I volunteered as a mentor in school settings for 5+ years to support children and parents in gaining the skills to manage stress and anxiety as well as conflicts in relationships. I have walked side by side with girls and women to help them release old narratives of not feeling good enough and find their confidence again.
Healing Therapy Services
These experiences have led me to become a therapist to women and girls, ages 6+, and teens experiencing anxiety and depression just like I did. In working as a therapist, I aim to empower girls and women towards growth and healing, so they can be confident and successful in their aspirations. I like to use humor in my work with clients and I am often known by others to have “the best laugh.” Most importantly, I strive to create a calm therapy space and establish trusting relationships with the clients I work with. Healing is a Journey—Let’s Walk It Together
Looking for a therapist near me can be a daunting process, but I’m here to make it simple! My approach to therapy services is rooted in person-centered therapy and strengths-based therapy. I believe that every person is the expert of their life and has the strengths to move towards growth and healing. In our initial sessions, I will be excited to get to know you better by exploring you or your daughter’s strengths, lifestyle, and challenges.
